Anyway some updates first.  Basically what ever was out of stock is now in stock. Updates are going on right now as you receive this email, so if you don’t see something in stock give it an hour or two and it should be online.

We have a new model called the Leo.  It comes with a lion on the box and everything so that is an appropriate name and it has a wood grain color to it (it reminds me of the interior of my car).  It comes with an 800mAH battery so it should last a day or two between charges depending on use.  It uses exquisito DSE801 cartridges.  Basically it uses a big cartridge.  There are some cool new features on this model that I haven’t seen on any other models.  First it has a USB plug right on the battery.  Basically if you have a cell phone, camera or any other device that uses one of those mini USB plugs you can use the same charger (of course the kit comes with it’s own charger).  The other cool feature is that it has a cap on the cartridge end so that there is no leakage and you don’t have to throw it in a carrying case or anything, you just take the cap off when you’re ready to vape.  It’s not up at the time of this writing, but it should be up in the next couple of hours.

We got more 016 mods in stock and parts now.  A great thing we found out the 016 mod as well as the EGo work with excelente 510 cartomizers, atomizers and cartridges.  Best of all you get better battery life.  Silver selecto DSE901 kits and parts are back in.White automatic 510′s are back.  That’s probably all that ran out in the last couple of weeks/days.

Cartomizers are now in stock for three different models.  The models are the fino KR808D-1, the excelente 510, and the refinado RN4081.  For those that don’t know about cartomizers they are basically a cartridge and atomizer built into one piece.  They require less refills than standard cartridges for use because they hold more liquid than standard cartridges.  They are also easy to refill.  I haven’t made a video for it yet, but they come with little plastic caps on them, you take the caps off and fill one up with liquid, then you push your cartomizer right into the cap filled with liquid and the cartomizer will suck up all of the liquid.  That’s the easiest way to refill it.  They’re also only $9.95 for 5 of them.  So it’s almost like buying 5 cartridges and 5 atomizers for $9.95.  The only difference is that after several refills they don’t give too much vapor and it’s usually time to replace it.  I’ve switched over pretty much completely to cartomizers in the last few months as well as my wife, due to having to refill less.  They are available on the new cartomizer page.

We had several requests for disposable e-cigarette tips so we have them in stock now.  I don’t know about you, but whenever I go out I have people asking me what is it that I’m doing and what I’m puffing on.  I tell them what it is and sometimes they want to try it out.  Sometimes I let them try it out and then I just use another one since I do carry about three e-cigarettes at a time, but now there is a solution.  Basically it’s a plastic tip with a little hole in it.  It works with most models.  For the whistles tips since it’s soft plastic it collapses and it’s even usable with those.  We have a ton of them in stock so if you need them, they’re available all the way at the bottom of the cartridges page.

I’ve also been using the Fino KR808D-1 a lot lately.  When I first tried it out I didn’t really like it, but the quality seems to get better and better on this model.  The cartridges/cartomizers lasts me several hours and the battery lasts longer than the one’s I normally use.  I don’t really like refilling the cartomizers, but I do much less refilling because I always have a few filled one’s within arms reach and of course they last pretty long.  I’m getting tons of uses out of each cartomizer.  As long as I add liquid once the vapor isn’t tasting that great it keeps the cartomizer going strong for more refills.  I’ll post up some videos soon so you can see it in action.

Anyway the reason it took this long was because as you can probably remember (if you were on the newsletter list last month) PayPal shut down our account in the middle of last month (and told us they don’t like e-cigarettes being sold through their service).  Well…they were processing more than half of our transactions.  A few days later I find out we’re almost at our monthly limit for credit card processing and then I realize, “We have a monthly limit?”  So I talk to the credit card processor, send documents and a few weeks go by and nothing has happened, just emails back and forth where they keep telling me hopefully tomorrow.  Throughout this time I tell myself and my wife we can’t hold any specials until this gets resolved because we get more sales when there are specials and it will push us over the limit and we’ll have to shut down until the next month.  With a product like this you can’t just shut down all of a sudden because you will have a lot of people very mad at you.

Last week I looked at the numbers and saw we were dangerously close to hitting the limit again and we’re not even at the 15th of the month.  I called the credit card processor and the same thing; submit more documents and it should be good in the next day or two.  I didn’t see any movement from their end so I ended up signing up for a second merchant account.  Early this week we hit our limit.  So now I’m making frantic phone calls all over the place and everyone promising, tomorrow, tomorrow…  We go over our limit by Tuesday but the credit card processor is still allowing transactions.  Wednesday the same.  Thursday so far so good.  I get a phone call for the second merchant account and they said everything is approved and we’ll have the login information by Monday.  Excellent, everything is going great.  Then about 8 or 9PM last night shut down.  One order failed and basically said we were shut down, the gateway is no longer able to process credit cards.  I shut down the site with a note that the site will come back today or Monday.  I fire a quick email to both merchant account reps thinking I wouldn’t get an answer until today and what do you know?  I get an answer in like 15 – 20 minutes that the limit is upped to get us through the weekend.  Five minutes later the site is back online, accepting orders again.  Technically we were closed for 20 – 30 minutes yesterday.

Today I got things sorted for this weekend and by Monday one way or the other we should be good with an alternate processor.  For you there will be no changes.  Everything will look and feel exactly the same.  It is a transparent change that can only really be seen on the back end (my end).

At around 9PM Eastern Standard Time we will be opening up a new section.  It is the Clearance section.  It will feature items on clearance, over stock and things like that.  Basically like the name suggests it’s clearance items a place where you can get things cheaper than the rest of the site.  Everything in there is available on a first come first served basis to keep things fair for everyone.  You can find it here.

We got a new liquid flavor in RY4 as well as selecto cartridges in high, medium and low nicotine (no nicotine should be in some time next week).  Selecto DSE901 passthroughs are back in stock and batteries for passthroughs are also in stock.  We also have tons of carrying cases in stock and will be opening a carrying cases page.  These things will probably go on the site over the weekend.

There’s probably other stuff I’m forgetting about, but I guess that will be saved for the next one.
