The fino KR808D-1 is known for it’s strong battery and decent battery life. The battery is also compatible with the selecto DSE901 atomizer so if you prefer not to use cartomizers; you can always use the selecto DSE901 atomizer.
This model in particular is normally sold with cartomizers which are an atomizer and cartridge built into one piece.
Contrary to popular belief you can actually refill a cartomizer, although their life expectancy isn’t as long as a normal atomizer.
would the cartomizer work with a 901 pass though?
The best of both
I’m not 100% sure but I’m guessing you can’t. The 901 battery doesn’t work with the 808 cartomizers. The 901 battery has no holes and the 808 battery has two holes.
Do you sell just the batteries for this and I can’t find the kit on your site any longer do you still carry it?
We didn’t carry it for a while, but there should be some in next week. Kits and parts.
Are you out of the cartimizers for the KR808d-1. I saw that you had some for a while and now there gone again. I like your products but it seems you are out of those alot. Please let me know when you will be getting them
Thanks
Domenic
They will be back in stock next week. We actually stopped carrying this model for a while because it wasn’t that popular. Now it looks like there is interest so we sold out pretty quickly of what we had.
How is the vapor production, throat hit, and cartridge life in this model compared to your other models?
Great.
I know that’s not the answer you wanted. My opinion on these has changed over the last few months. When I first got a hold of them I wasn’t to crazy about them. I found them hard to get decent vapor and the battery wasn’t working the way I expected. It did last long though and it worked excellent with the selecto 901 atomizer.
Then on the last couple of batches I noticed something…much more vapor, better general battery performance. The throat hit was always good even when there was little vapor, but now there’s also a good amount of vapor.
The liquid inside of the cartridges (cartomizers) lasts much longer than regular cartridges because of the design and the fact that the cartridge is much bigger than a standard cartridge. I’ve heard each cartomizer is good for at least a few refills, I’ve refilled mine more than that and haven’t had to use any new ones, but I’m not a typical user of this model since I don’t constantly use it.
I’ve noticed a lot of the e-cigarettes lately have been evolving and becoming better and more reliable. Of course you still have your bad parts, but the general quality seems to be getting better over time. It’s a newer technology so I guess they’re still working the bugs out and constantly improving the final product.
I still love my 808 and will spread the word. I haven’t touched a real cigarette since Feb 2010. I feel much better inside too.
Thank you to Cigarette Replacer for being so prompt when an order is placed, for being so informative and helping me understand many things about E-Cig smoking.
I really appreciate everything you have done, not just for myself, but for my family with not having to smell real smoke, my health, and my friends with helping them as well. They too have been successful, NOT TO INCLUDE THE MONEY SAVED!!!
I have recently started with e-cigs. Bought a really expensive one and a really cheap one. The expensive one only lasted 1 day and the cheapo lasted about 5. I really love these things. The problem I am having is that I use them as a replacement for analog and am finding that the atomizers burn out really quickly. Any suggestions on which will last longest with heavy use and produces really good vapor.
Love this site, it has been a huge help!
You’re on the right page the model listed on this page is very good and you don’t have to worry about atomizers because these use cartomizers which are cheaper to replace. Of course not wanting to turn my response into a complete advertisement, I must say that if they only lasted you between 1 and 5 days either you’re doing something wrong or you got some duds (which probably have some type of warranty and should be replaceable).
Were you refilling your cartridges or changing cartridges frequently? Some people don’t realize that you either have to refill your cartridges constantly or swap them out. I know it might sound obvious to some people but I’ve heard complaints in the past where people are complaining that there cartridge didn’t last a pack or two as advertised by some companies and they thought their device was defective. The truth of the matter is a cartridge lasts as long as there is liquid still inside of it and it depends on how many puffs you take, how deep of drags you take, etc…
Thanks so much for the help. I will most likely be purchasing the one on this page as I like the idea of using the carts.
